Staying Connected

In times of such uncertainty, it’s important to seek comfort in what is familiar, stay connected to our loved ones and attempt to maintain some sense of normalcy in our lives. Many of us have been missing out on play dates, birthdays, dinner outings, gym workouts and much more. We will most likely be spending the upcoming Easter holiday in our homes with only our immediate family. “Social Distancing” due to Covid-19 has disrupted all our lives in some way and our work family is no exception. With our office now open for emergency care only, most of our staff hasn’t been together in weeks and we all miss one another!Virtual Happy Hour: How to Host a Socially Distant Party | Glamour

This past weekend we decided to do something about it so we could all be together… “virtually.”  We hosted a Zoom cocktail party for all our staff which turned out to be a huge success and a lot of fun! There were over 20 of us on the screen sipping our favorite beverages, catching up on life and sharing laughs. It was just what each of us needed.

In times like these maintaining connections to our loved ones is more important than ever. This may require thinking “outside the box” and accepting a new normal – even if it is just temporary. We hope all of you are remaining healthy and safe at this time and we look forward to when we can see each of you back in our office again.
